Rimy loved to shop. She would either go to the malls or shop online, depending on her convenience. There were times when she had a very hectic work week and over the weekend, she liked to stay at home. So at that time she would shop for things online. On one such weekend, she was shopping online. She found a very nice mp3 player which fit her budget. She ordered for it. After 1 week when she received the delivery she saw that the device was not working, the earphones were missing and the screen was scratched. She did not waste any time and decided to file a consumer complaint. She knew that according to the consumer law cooling off period lasts for about a week. She was certain about making the complaint and that's why she did not cancel her complaint. Since she did not get the product made according to her specifications, it wasn't perishable, it didn't fall under the category of reading material etc she knew she could ask for a refund.
