When you are done with the connection you will be in a position to record TV shows that you would want to watch at a later time. You will need a USB cable, an external drive cable, a TV and your alert self. First take one side of the external hard drive cable and connect it to the TV, then the other side should be connected to a source of power. The USB cable should be connected to an input on the external hard drive. At this point you can switch on the power and you are good to go.If this method does not work, ask a technician who is well versed with this kind of connection. Most shops selling electrical stuff has one or two technicians.
