To safeguard eBay buyers from scammers and seller&rsquos ebay excessive shipping, EBay recently put up the eBay Buyer Protection Policy that will ensure complete protection for the buyer&rsquos welfare is address by EBay. The policy, which will be implemented September this year, will give the buyers the opportunity to contest the seller&rsquos terms and condition and can file a criminal case against a seller that is a bogus or a scammer. EBay believe that by safeguarding buyers rights (which remains ambiguous up to this date) will increase online buyers and will help strengthen EBay&rsquos hold on the buy and sell market. Many sellers however are contesting the policy inciting that excessive shipping should be treated on a case to case basis as there are certain conditions that sellers have to consider that usually resulted to the higher shipping costs. Seller&rsquos community are petitioning the policy ruling out that conditions like (a) item&rsquos value (b) location of the shipper and the buyer and (c) different courier fees are just some of the things that they have to consider. eBayer managerial board is still reviewing the petition to see if it has valid grounds, meanwhile, Buyers can enjoy the protection as the policy is still imposed until further notice.
